This scope is awsome! not only does it look good but it stays on zero all the time. some people may ask why have a airsoft scope on a 308 cal rifle but i will tell you it will handel the shock and stress most rifles dish out and also can take a beating in the field! i would tell anyone looking for a scope that this is the one if you want a scope that performs like a thousand dollar scope!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this scope but was instantly impressed when I got ahold of it. It's VERY sturdy and absolutely NOTHING feels at all cheap about it. I mounted it to a Marlin 60 and took it to the range. 4 shots and I had it zeroed. I've since fired in excess of 1000 rounds and only adjusted it due to ammo changes which was easy because of the return to zero turrets. After I was done with that ammo I simply returned to turrets to zero and with the regular ammo I shoot was back on the bull. The illumination is great as well. While I have no need for all the colors, I've found in addition to the red and green, blue and teal? are probably my favs. The flip up sunshades are well built too. The snap open and closed firmly and stay put. A simple flip of your thumb and the spring loaded caps flip up. I have nothing negative to say about it! It's not small by any means or light but that's pretty easy to tell from looking at it. If you're hesitant because it's not the most $$ scope out there, don't be! I'm shocked it is so cheap after owning it. I'd easily pay 50% more or even 2X and still be happy.

Lately (2011) it seems to me, UTG has stepped up its game, and is producing great-value-for-the-money equipment. At around $110, the Accushot 3-12x44 AO scope is no exception.
This scope comes in a compact form at 11.1" long, and a regular variant at 14.0". The two models are almost identical in every other respect. I have both. The compact one is fitted to an Air Arms TX200, which cannot take the longer scope and still give access to its breech (a consequence of being an underlever cocker, not a break barrel). This review covers both models.
An optional over-sized side-wheel may be fitted to the AO knob on the left side, and I highly, highly recommend this accessory. With either the 100mm or the 80mm wheel very fine adjustments are possible, making field-target ranging much easier, or just to get really good focus.
The windage and elevation knobs are held tight by integrated clutch wheels. The advantage over a cap is that: a) you can lose the cap, and b) the clutch can be tightened to prevent any change--or loosened to allow it--quite easily. The only drawback I can think of is that the controls are always exposed. (I have had scopes that require an Allen (hex) wrench to adjust the W/E controls. It seems to me a very bad idea: something else to carry around; something else to lose.)
The scope comes with integrated flip-up lens caps, battery, and rings. The rings are for Picatinny rails. If you have a dovetailed receiver as I do, be sure to order high profile rings for a 30mm tube. Depending on your rifle, you might get away with medium-height rings, but you do need clearance for that 44mm objective lens.
I have not subjected my scope to water or shock tests, but under normal use it performs admirably. The image is clear at all distances and ambient light conditions, and it holds its zero. What else can I say? For the money, it's a great scope.

Optics are Clear,Mil-dot Illumination is Neat. Comes with Flip up scope caps and a Nice set of UTG scope Rings. Windage and Elevation Turrets have a Lock Ring to prevent them from being changed.
This Scope made a nice addition to my AK but did add some weight....I would buy this again.I felt like i got a good buy for my Money.

I bought this to replace my damaged and somewhat inadequate Centerpoint 3-9x40mm scope for my gas ram powered .22 caliber Gamo CFX, and I love it.
The top of this new scope's power range, 12x, is just right for this particular air rifle, and the image is nice and clear, with minimal glare and distortion.
The mil-dot reticle is also very clean and (for my purposes) is much handier for holdover points than range estimating.
The overall construction is also very sturdy, with the objective bell being easy to turn, but not so much so that the parallax adjustments wander around the way my old Centerpoint did.
By the way, the parallax is adjustable all the way down to a scant five yards all the way out to infinity, so this would be an excellent candidate for air rifles, which really benefit greatly from a parallax adjustable scope, since parallax affects them much more so because of the short ranges at which they are used.
This scope is also rated for full power spring piston airguns, so again, that makes it an excellent choice for a springer.
It also has a nice red/green illuminated reticle that can be adjusted for brightness or switched off, powered by a 2032 battery, that might come in handy for low light or for solid black backgrounds that would tend to make the reticle difficult to see.
I especially like the turrets, with the finger lockable windage/elevation wheels.
You need no tools at all to adjust that way, and it keeps the adjustments firmly in place.
This scope also turns out to be slightly shorter than the 3-9x40mm Centerpoint, but I think its image is a bit brighter and clearer.
This is a brand new product from Leapers, and anyone wondering if it is of decent quality need not worry.
The scope also comes with a nice set of medium height aluminum Weaver style rings, two allen wrenches for installing them, a nice set of flip-up lens caps, two 2032 batteries, an instruction manual, and a lens cleaning cloth.
It's a bargain.

Purchased this for my Remington 597 .22. installed an Arch Angel Kit and this scope. I have shot 1000 rounds through it since installing and it has not drifted at all. Holds it sight well at 100 yards. The illuminated crosshairs are the SH_T

If you are looking to get a larger wheel on your scope then you need to look no further. I own the Hawke Optics HK5135 Varmint 6-24x44 Rifle Scope in Matte Black and it doesn't have the large wheel. I did have to mill out the hole 1/8" but it took 10 minutes and you can have it done any place for a few dollars.

Initially, looks sweet on my gun. Its easy to fold up and down with your support hand.
PROS:
Swivels left and right easily only when gun is resting on it
Attaches to a weaver/picatinny rail or sling swivel

CONS:
Too short for rifles with large capacity magazines
SUMMARY: Great bipod, but not able to be used with rifles that have high capacity magazines (AK's, AR's, Mini-14). For instance, it will not work with an AR-15 or AK-47, due to the magazine length, but would work with hunting rifles, long range pistols or, if you're weird, a shotgun. As for durability, it's indestructable. I think it is worth the money, given that it's so inexpensive.

UTG has several different models of this same bipod, differing only in how much extension the legs have. This product is the "S" model, whose legs only extend 0.8", which is too short to be of any value for tactical rifles. It is DEFINITELY not a SWAT/Combat Profile, as described. I should have heeded the other reviews before I ordered it for my Mini-14 and SIG 522. If you have a tactical rifle, DO NO order this bipod. I'm stuck with it now, as it will cost 25% of the cost to return it.

I have the Accushot 4-16x56 scope on my 24" AR, and I use a bipod because that bull barrel is stupid heavy. Putting the killer scope on that rifle was an obvious choice, but this wheel thing had me waffling. I finally got it because the price is very reasonable and it looks very cool.
Now that I have used it, I can't imagine that rifle without it If you use a high magnification scope with a big objective lens you get a nice bright image, but your depth of field (how much stuff is in focus at one time) becomes very small. This means you have to focus the scope for different range targets. Without the wheel that's not a difficult task, but you do have to move your hand to the knob, adjust, then get back in position. A small turn of the knob makes a big difference in where you are focused, as well. Add the Big Wheel to the mix and you can scoot your left hand back on the foregrip and reach the wheel, and moving the edge of the wheel a little makes a little difference in the focus. Your rifle looks more techno, and it works better. For the money, it's hard to make a better change! 8^)
If you are wondering, the focus at the eyepiece of your scope will change the focus on your image AND on your crosshairs. You use that to adjust so that your crosshairs (or whatever reticle you have) are perfectly sharp, as everyone's eyes are a little different. The wheel attaches to the objective end focus knob (objective being the big lens at the front of the scope) so you can focus on the target, and it doesn't change the focus on your reticle. A 4x scope with a 32mm objective doesn't need to focus the objective, while a 16x with a 56mm absolutely MUST include objective focusing to work. FYI. Ok, now I'm rambling...

Not to knock some other reviews, but I would not label this product as "must have". Your firearm/scope will function adequately without it...that said, this wheel is definitely a nice convenience.
Pros:
Adds leverage. Makes the stiff range knob much easier to adjust.
Improves precision during adjustment. Diameter increase relative to scopes range turret allows for greater linear travel per degree of adjustment. Coupled with the leverage advantage it makes very small adjustments easier.
Sturdily constructed. Though it looks like cheap/flimsy plastic in the ads/photos, this version (80mm/4 spoke) is manufactured using aluminum. The spokes are thick/strong and it uses 4 steel locking Allen screws.
Lightweight. Doesn't add any significant weight to the firearm.
Can be used for rough range estimation. On initial sight in, using a known distance, dial in the distance on the scopes range turret, then adjust the focus using the scopes ocular diopter or front AO adjustment (depending which scope you have). Once 'dialed in'/focused, any future focus adjustments made using the range turret will give the range
Low price.
Cons:
As far as I know, it is specific to Leapers/UTG scopes with the side wheel adjustable turret....i.e. its not a `universal' product so make sure it will fit your scope before buying it.
Its big. Gonking big. But that's the price to pay for the additional leverage.
Range markings are not 100% accurate. I've used this on 2 scopes now (UTG 4-16x 50 and UTG 3-12x44) and in both cases the range markings on the wheel are not scaled precisely respective to the range markings on the scopes actual range turret. You can match at the minimum end of travel (10 yard range) or the other end of the travel (infinity) but not both. Its close, but not a 100% match. This does not appear to be a deliberate attempt to compensate for parallax...just a design/manufacturing error.
As another reviewer noted, you might need a rest/support to use this. If you are going to use this on a lighter firearm (AR etc) you might be able to support the firearm with one hand and operate the range wheel, but for a heavier firearm (i.e. my L1A1) a bipod/benchrest/'treebranchfork' or some form of stable support is needed...at least for a dwarf such as myself.
Conclusion: I personally don't care for the looks of it, but I'm a form follows function kind of person, so given the function and price it is a very good value....an inexpensive but sturdy add on that definitely improves operation. I have no reservations recommending this product and will be buying another as soon as they are back in stock.
Notes: UTG appears to be readying an updated version of this product for release at some point in 2012. Hopefully it will address the range mismatch, but other than that, I cant see any improvement and would not suggest waiting for the new product.
